³ The five descendants of Uzzi were Izrahiah and Izrahiah’s sons Michael, Obadiah, Joel, and Isshiah. All of them were heads of families. ⁴ They had many wives and children. So in addition to these men grouped according to their ancestry and families, there were 36,000 soldiers. ⁵ Their relatives (that is, all of Issachar’s families) were fighting men. A total of 87,000 of them was recorded in the genealogy.
